2009 American Idol

Between January 13, 2009 and May 20, 2009 is when the panel of four judges of season eight of the American idol and the American people worked hard to reward talent. And sure they didn’t disappoint because immediately they announced Kris Allen as the winner almost everybody was in agreement that indeed he had beaten Adam Lambert not to mention other contestants.

Kris Allen who was the only married contestant got a total of one hundred million votes which is the highest in the history of these competitions. Several changes were however noted by the audience like the changed number of finalist and semi-finalist among others.
